Last week, College GameDay aired one of the most emotional and incredible stories of the year with a feature on former Purdue student Tyler Trent, who has fought through three extensive bouts of bone cancer and faces a terminal diagnosis.
The video emphasizes how the entire Boilermaker community has rallied around Trent, becoming an incredible support system for Trent and his family. It also highlighted Trent’s passion for the university and the football team, inspiring players to perform and deliver an unexpected 49-20 blowout over then-No. 2 Ohio State in front of an amazing atmosphere at Ross-Ade Stadium.
