Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck addressed the injury status of four very important players during a weekly radio show on Sunday.
#Gophers coach PJ Fleck didn't reveal much of anything on injuries to Shannon Brooks, Tyler Johnson, Mohamed Ibrahim and Antonio Shenault during his Sunday spot on @wccoradio. "Hopefully we will be able to get some of those guys back," he said.

Running back Shannon Brooks, who suffered a torn ACL earlier this spring, rushed 22 times for 154 yards and a touchdown in his debut appearance during Friday’s win against Indiana but left the game in the third quarter due to an apparent right knee injury. Meanwhile, Mohamed Ibrahim — the team’s leading rusher — did not play due to an undisclosed injury. Ibrahim has 464 yards and three scores this season.
Wide receiver Tyler Johnson caught five passes for 102 yards and touchdowns of 8 and 18 yards against Indiana, but missed most of the fourth quarter because of a leg injury that Fleck initially termed as day-to-day. Johnson leads the team with 52 receptions for 807 and eight touchdowns.
Defensive back Antonio Shenault did not play because of a head injury. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound senior has posted 42 tackles (2.5 for loss) and interception returned for a touchdown in 2018.
