For candy lovers, there is no more anticipated day than Halloween. Trick-or-treaters will go door-to-door collecting a variety a candy all across B1G country.
But which candies are the most popular this time of year?
CandyStore.com, an online seller of bulk candy, has kept track of sales in each state for over a decade now. It released an annual list of the most popular Halloween candy in every state. The list was based on the number of pounds ordered over a given year.
USA Today compiled a list of the most popular candies in each state, and there could be plenty of debate.
There’s a pretty broad variation among the most popular candies in each state. There are a few classics that make the list (Candy Corn, M&Ms, Skittles, etc.) as well as some unforeseen candies.
Here are the most popular candies in every B1G state, based on number of pounds ordered:
