Maryland is a mess right now.
And to say that is an understatement. People have been fired, people have resigned and a player has received stitches due to a fight at practice all in the last couple of days.
A lot is happening. And now, the police are getting involved.
The player who had to receive stitches was Maryland punter Matt Barber. Barber made the statement that he had gotten beat up by teammates on Thursday at practice because he talked to investigators about former Terrapins coach DJ Durkin.
Some of Barber’s teammates have said that Barber’s statement was false and that he was “beat up” because he was picking on younger players. Who actually knows what happened?
We don’t quite yet. But, we might soon. This is where the police are jumping in.
