One of the most troubling and disturbing stories of the college football season took another discouraging twist.

NJ.com is reporting that Izaia Bullock, the former Rutgers linebacker who was arrested for allegedly plotting a murder, also “harassed a woman online by threatening to send nude photos of her to her employer.” The threat was used to harass or emotionally harm the woman, according to documents.

Bullock is now facing a fourth-degree cyber harassment charge in addition to the two counts of first-degree attempted murder and two counts of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder.

It’s alleged that Bullock plotted to murder two family members of an ex-girlfriend. He was arrested on Monday.

According to a report, Bullock was distraught after he and his girlfriend ended a long-term relationship. The former linebacker informed coaches and teammates of his struggles. He revealed some startling information to one teammate, who then informed the coaching staff.

Staff members passed the information along to university officials and, eventually, law enforcement officials.

Bullock is expected to have his detention hearing next Wednesday.
