The term “revenge tour” has caught on pretty quickly in Ann Arbor. After Michigan defensive lineman Chase Winovich coined the phrase, it’s become somewhat of a battle cry for the Wolverines.
It started with Michigan’s 38-13 win over Wisconsin and continued the following week when the Wolverines knocked off Michigan State 21-7 in East Lansing. Now, it keeps rolling as Penn State enters the Big House.
Michigan will try to avenge a 42-13 loss to the Nittany Lions from a season ago. Before the clash between top 25 foes, Winovich spoke with BTN’s Michelle McMahon about the “revenge tour” and what it means to be a senior with the program.
As you might expect, Winovich had some pretty interesting comments.
"We just need to keep it rollin', because at any given point, you could just take a big slice of humble pie…."
