Sainristill (5-foot-10, 175 pounds) is the top overall recruit from the state of Massachusetts and ranks as the No. 62 player at his position in the 2019 class, per 247Sports. He chose the Wolverines over Virginia Tech, Indiana, North Carolina, and Ole Miss, among others.
“(My) mom and dad loved it, I loved it,” Sainristil told WolverinesWire.com during an official visit back in June. “They treated us well, we felt like we were at home.”
Sainristil is Michigan’s 24th commitment of the 2019 class, which ranks No. 1 in the Big Ten and No. 9 nationally.
