It has been a rough season for LJ Scott.
Scott originally suffered an ankle injury earlier in the season that kept him sidelined for over a month. After returning for games against Michigan and Purdue, Scott is now dealing with another injury that forced him to miss the Maryland game.
Head coach Mark Dantonio took time to address Scott’s Saturday absence and status moving forward on his Sunday evening teleconference. According to Dantonio, Scott is once again week-to-week after sustaining an injury against Purdue.
Chris Solari with the Detroit Free Press shared Dantonio’s update:
Dantonio says on LJ Scott is week to week. Got hurt vs. Purdue. "He's been able to practice at times, and others he can't."

Scott carried the ball 15 times for 52 yards against the Boilermakers before missing the Maryland game. He has been limited to just 55 carries in four games this season due to injury.
Starting in place of Scott against the Terrapins, Connor Heyward had arguably the best game of his career. Heyward carried the ball 15 times for 157 yards and 2 TDs, including an 80-yard score that iced the game in the fourth quarter.
