Saturday’s Ohio State-Michigan State showdown will feature two teams with different goals at this point in the season.

At 6-3, Mark Dantonio’s Spartans have dealt with many injuries and various struggles throughout the year. Michigan State did become bowl eligible with the win over Maryland, and the Spartans will enter Saturday’s game looking to record a signature upset for the season.

For Ohio State, the Buckeyes maintain an outside shot at making a run to the College Football Playoff. Urban Meyer’s squad was ranked No. 10 on the initial Playoff Top 25, but winning out would likely put the Buckeyes back into the mix for a national championship.

As the two teams get ready for Saturday, OddsShark released a computer score prediction for the game. The spread is down to Ohio State -3.5, but the computer does not see a close game in store. The computer currently has the Buckeyes coming out on top by two touchdowns with a score of 34.6-20.6.

Michigan State may be without starting running back LJ Scott for the contest. Still, the Spartans’ defense has presented a tough challenge for many teams this season. Ohio State will need to be at the top of its game to get the win.

Who do you have winning Saturday’s showdown?
