Michigan QB Shea Patterson announced as one of 10 semifinalists for Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award

No. 4 Michigan has had one heck of a season to this point.

Week 1 didn’t look good. Weeks 2-10, however, have indeed looked good.

The Wolverines are currently 8-1 overall and if the season ended today, they would be in the College Football Playoff. Of course, the season isn’t over just yet. But, who has stood out?

Quarterback Shea Patterson.

On Thursday, the 10 semifinalists were announced for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, and, Patterson is one of them:

Patterson, to this point in the season, has completed 67 percent of his passes for 1,667 yards, 14 TD and 3 INT. He has also added 187 rushing yards with 2 TD as well.
