Tim Tebow on if Michigan will beat Ohio State: ‘Probably not’

No. 4 Michigan started the season with what looked to be an ugly loss to Notre Dame.

The Wolverines certainly didn’t win the battle at the line of scrimmage and didn’t look to be in the same class as the Fighting Irish. Since then, however, Michigan has rolled up 8 straight wins and if the season ended today, the College Football Playoff committee would have the Wolverines in.

Michigan, in those 8 wins, have beaten good teams such as Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin. The Wolverines have done their job against rivals, finally.

But, what about Ohio State at the end of the year?

Tim Tebow appeared on ESPN’s First Take on Friday and didn’t think Michigan would continue DL Chase Winovich’s “revenge tour.”

“I think they’re going to be a favorite against Ohio State, and Ohio State is going to be able to knock them off and go to the Big Ten Championship,” Tebow said. “It doesn’t matter who they play. Neither one of them are getting in. Michigan, that is their opportunity. This is their chance. They’re in the Top Four. Everyone else has lost but can they find a way to beat their rivals Ohio State? They haven’t done it yet. Will it be this year? I’m saying probably not.”

We’ll find out on Nov. 24 at Ohio Stadium if this is indeed Michigan’s year.
