WATCH: Member of Oklahoma’s spirit squad has to hold on tight during TD celebration

Oklahoma has a pretty cool tradition involving some horses, a carriage and RUF/NEKS.
RUF/NEKS are Oklahoma’s all-male spirit squad. They’re pretty cool, as they get super into celebrating Oklahoma football. In particular, following Sooners TDs, they ride and run around a carriage and horses to celebrate.
However, whenever something involves an animal, anything can happen. Sure, they can be trained. But not every single possible outcome can be accounted for when it comes to these celebrations.
Take a look at what happened to this one member of the RUF/NEKS during a celebration on Saturday:

The man appears to be OK, as afterwards, he’s standing there smiling. But boy, that could have been a disaster.
On the other hand, it’s what he (kind of) signed up for, right?
