Karan Higdon surpasses 1,000 rushing yards on the season

It may have been a long time coming, but Michigan running back Karan Higdon surpassed 1,000 yards rushing for the season in Saturday’s game against Rutgers.
Higdon had 963 yards on the season and 2,401 yards in his career with the Wolverines heading into the game with the Scarlet Knights. After coming up just short of 1,000 yards in 2017, Higdon can now claim a 1,000-yard season on his resume. He finished last season with 994 rushing yards.

According to the BTN, Higdon is Michigan’s first 1,000-yard rusher since quarterback Denard Robinson in 2012:
