Northwestern found a way to re-take the lead in the fourth quarter!
Saturday’s game between Iowa and Northwestern is headed down to the wire, but the Wildcats went ahead on this play. Quarterback Clayton Thorson dropped back and threw a deep pass down the far sideline. It initially looked like the throw would sail beyond the receiver. However, Bennett Skowronek came through.
Skowronek laid out with full extension to get his arms under the ball. It was tough to see at first glance if he was able to keep his arms under the ball, but a video review confirmed the touchdown catch. Needless to say, it is a thing of beauty.
The BTN shared the video of his remarkable grab:
On first glance it looked Skowrong, but upon further review it felt Skowright. 😏
