By now, you’d think I’d have everything pretty figured out.
Three weeks to properly evaluate B1G teams should be more than enough time. Yet perfect I am not, nor are my picks. A 10-3 showing wasn’t necessarily poor, but it was my margin of victory that didn’t turn out so hot.
I predicted a a 7-point loss for Illinois…yikes. I predicted a 35-point win for Minnesota…double yikes. I predicted Indiana, Maryland and Northwestern all to lose…triple yikes.
It wasn’t my finest hour.
Having said that, I’m calling my shot for Week 4. Why? Because the odds are in my favor. Only four of the 14 spreads are single digits. If I’m not perfect, I should be close to it. Either that, or I still don’t have this conference quite figured out four weeks into the season.
