College Football Playoff rankings: Top 10 remains the exact same
Last week, Michigan vaulted into the top 4 of the College Football Playoff rankings, which is of course a good sign.
If the Wolverines keep winning, the only way they wouldn’t make the playoff is if a team jumped them. Is it possible? Sure.
Is it likely? Probably not. Georgia jumping over Michigan is a possibility if the Bulldogs were to beat Alabama in the SEC Championship, but games before then still have to be played.
This past week, the teams ranked No. 1-10 each won their respective games. There wasn’t supposed to be much of a shake-up going into this week’s rankings, and for the most part, that was indeed the case.
Below are the most recent College Football Playoff rankings:
- Alabama
- Clemson
- Notre Dame
- Michigan
- Georgia
- Oklahoma
- LSU
- Washington State
- West Virginia
- Ohio State
- UCF
- Syracuse
- Florida
- Penn State
- Texas
- Iowa State
- Kentucky
- Washington
- Utah
- Boston College
- Mississippi State
- Northwestern
- Utah State
- Cincinnati
- Boise State
Again, not much change was supposed to take place near the top. That’s exactly what happened. The Top 10 remained the exact same.
Will chaos ensue in Week 12?
