For the next seven days, it’s going to be all about Ohio State and Michigan. Not only is the season finale matchup the greatest rivalry game in sports, this time there’s a B1G division title on the line.

After the Buckeyes escaped College Park with a 52-51 win over Maryland to improve to 10-1, players were quickly asked about next week’s clash with the Wolverines in Columbus. Running back J.K. Dobbins didn’t have any trouble talking about the importance of “The Game.”

“Next week’s game is what I left Texas for,” Dobbins said, according to Colin Hass-Hill of Eleven Warriors.

Dobbins is coming off a huge outing against the Terrapins, rushing for 203 yards and a touchdown on 37 carries. He was certainly gassed at the end of this week’s matchup, but with so many implications hanging in the balance, you can bet the Ohio State back will be ready to go next Saturday.

This season, Dobbins has rushed for over 900 yards and eight touchdowns. His performance on Saturday set a new career-high in rushing yardage.

Dobbins is hoping to have a similar performance next week against Michigan and help his team claim another B1G East title.
