There’s no love lost between Harvard and Yale. The two Ivy League schools have one of the most heated rivalries in college football.
But Harvard running back Devin Darrington took the rivalry to another level on Saturday.
During the game, Darrington was able to break free and speed past the Yale defense on his way to the end zone. But while he was nearing the goal line, the running back decided to make an inappropriate hand gesture at a rival defender.
It cost Harvard the touchdown.

After giving Yale the finer, Darrington was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and the touchdown was wiped off the board.
Fortunately for Darrington, the penalty wasn’t too costly. Harvard went on to win the rivalry game 45-27.
While his coaches weren’t too happy with the gesture at the time, that moment will live on forever in the rivalry game.
