It’s the final week of the college football season and both Iowa and Nebraska are hoping to end the year on a high note.
The Hawkeyes suffered a tough three-game losing streak after starting the year 6-1. Once a contender in the B1G West, losses to Penn State, Purdue and Northwestern knocked Iowa out of contention.
Nebraska, on the other hand, started the year off 0-6 but is a winner in four of its last five games. The Huskers have easily been one of the most explosive offensive teams in the B1G over the last month.
Kirk Ferentz knows just how dangerous the Huskers can be.
On Tuesday, Ferentz addressed the media at his weekly press conference. He talked about the senior class and Friday’s matchup with Nebraska, and how important it is to get a win in the contest.
