Don’t count the Huskers out yet.
Trailing 28-13 and needing a touchdown in the fourth quarter, Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez connected with running back Maurice Washington on a wheel route to cut the Iowa lead in half.
That 28-yard touchdown toss from Martinez to Washington capped a 14-play, 98-yard drive for the Huskers. It was the team’s longest scoring drive of the season.

It was the second touchdown pass of the day for Martinez and his 17th of the season. It was Washington’s first touchdown as a receiver and his fourth total score of the year.
Nebraska is hoping to avoid a fourth-straight loss to the Hawkeyes in the rivalry game.
