ESPN’s College GameDay is in Columbus for the annual showdown between Michigan and Ohio State, and a star MLB player announced Friday evening he will be on hand as guest picker.

Bryce Harper tweeted out a picture announcing he will be on hand as the guest picker for the popular pregame show. Harper is a star outfielder who has played for the Washington Nationals but is on the free-agent market this offseason. He is arguably the biggest name on the open market this year.

Harper is not commonly associated with Ohio State as he grew up in Las Vegas and has played his whole career in Washington, D.C. to this point. However, Kevin Harrish with 11 Warriors explained that Harper is married to former OSU women’s soccer player Kayla Varner and has made appearances at previous high-profile Buckeyes games.
