Minnesota showed up to play against Wisconsin!
It has been a long time since the Golden Gophers knocked off their rivals. The Battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe has been all Wisconsin lately with the Badgers winning 14 straight. However, PJ Fleck’s squad looks intent on changing that streak.
Demetrius Douglas provided the fireworks of the first half with this punt return touchdown. He made a few men miss before racing by the coverage and down the sideline for the long score.
The touchdown allowed the Golden Gophers to carry a 17-7 lead into halftime. The BTN shared Douglas’ electric return:
