It’s rivalry week.

And for Minnesota fans, you probably knew what was going to take place: another loss to Wisconsin. After all, it’s been 15 years since Minnesota has actually beaten Wisconsin.

Well, mark 2018 a special season. Not only did the Golden Gophers get their sixth win of the season, becoming bowl eligible — but Minnesota actually beat Wisconsin to close out the regular season.

The 37-15 victory got the Golden Gophers to 6-6 on the season, with a 3-6 record in Big Ten play. Mohamed Ibrahim led the way on the ground with his 121 yards and a TD, outpacing Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor and his 120 yards with no scores.

After the game, Minnesota finally got to take Paul Bunyan’s Axe away from the Badgers:

Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck also got a wonderful bath in celebration:

Celebrate, Minnesota.
