Trace McSorley is Penn State.

However, Saturday was McSorley’s final game in Happy Valley. Of course a bowl game looms, but the senior played his final home game and came away with a 38-3 victory over Maryland.

Penn State finishes 2018 with a 9-3 record in the regular season. McSorley has done a lot during his time with the Nittany Lions, and a 10-win season after losing a bunch of offensive pieces to the NFL over this past offseason wouldn’t be the worst senior campaign in the world.

Penn State fans love McSorley. That’s a fact.

After the team’s 35-point demolition of the Terrapins, many fans wanted to meet with McSorley in the team’s tunnel. McSorley was going into the tunnel and was about to pass the fans, but coach James Franklin called him back over to greet everyone.

Again, McSorley is loved. He’ll surely be missed.
