WATCH: Eastern Michigan lip syncs Destiny’s Child in hilariously awesome bowl selection video

Eastern Michigan has made its pitch. It wants to be included in the college football postseason.
To make that point perfectly clear, the team created a clever, hilarious and awesome video to try and appease the bowl selection committee. And it’s going to be really difficult to leave the Eagles out of a bowl game this winter.
Head coach Chris Creighton opens the video open with a simple message, but a Destiny’s Child song — with players lip syncing throughout the video — takes over. It truly is one of the more creative videos you’ll see.

Eastern Michigan finished the season with a 7-5 record and a 5-3 mark in MAC play. The Eagles also posted a 20-19 win over Purdue early in the season.
While the Eagles have won seven games this season, they are one of 81 teams that are bowl eligible this year. With only 78 spots available, a few teams will be left out of the mix.
So, to try and avoid any disappointment, Easter Michigan thought it should create a video to try and appease the committee. We’ll find out if it works in a few days.
Bowl selection announcements will come on Sunday, Dec. 2.
