Kingston Davis’ UAB career may very well have come to an end.
The former Michigan running back is no longer listed on UAB’s roster, despite the Blazers playing in the Conference-USA Championship Game this coming Saturday. Davis was previously suspended in definitely in September for a student-conduct issue, according to al.com.
“Kingston Davis was placed on interim suspension from UAB in September pending a student conduct investigation,” the school said in a statement. “Due to student privacy laws, no additional information is available at this time.”
Davis was suspended around the same time that a video surfaced of the running back brandishing a gun and threatening violence on Twitter. His tweets have been deleted.
In three games this season, Davis rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.
Davis was a member of Michigan’s football team for just one season, 2016, and had two carries for 17 yards. He opted to transfer to Independence Community College, a junior college located in Kansas.
