The undefeated UCF Knights are getting more than they expected in the AAC Championship Game.
UCF entered Saturday’s game against Memphis with an unblemished record and ranked No. 8 on the most recent CFB Playoff Rankings. Landing in the top four was always a long shot for the Knights, and they have already dug themselves a deep hole against the Tigers.
Memphis jumped out to a 24-7 lead as the first quarter came to a close. The Tigers ripped off two long touchdown runs with the biggest coming courtesy of Patrick Taylor Jr. His run down the left sideline went for 70 yards and gave Memphis a 14-point lead.

Now the Knights will have to come back from 24-7 if they want to remain unbeaten.
