We’re getting closer to finding out which outstanding college football player takes home the most prestigious individual honor in the sport.
After an entertaining season with plenty of breakout stars, it’s time to narrow down the field announce the finalists for the Heisman Trophy. On Monday night, we’ll find out which players will receive an invitation to New York City.
The three probable finalists that most have lauded over all season are Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama, QB), Kyler Murray (Oklahoma, QB), and Dwayne Haskins (Ohio State, QB). While there could be a few more finalists in the running, it would be stunning if those three weren’t listed.
But when will the finalists be revealed?
The Heisman Trophy finalists will be named during ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown show. The announcement will come sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. ET.
Saturday, a Heisman Trophy winner will be announced.
