4-star OT with two B1G schools in Top 3 announces commitment date

A 4-star offensive tackle who is considering Michigan and Penn State has announced a commitment date.

Monday, Trevor Keegan, one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2019 class has set a decision date, saying he’ll be committing on Friday, Dec. 14. The Crystal Lake, Illinois has Michigan Penn State and Georgia in his top three.

Keegan is tabbed as the No. 1 player out of Illinois, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Keegan is a 6-foot-6 offensive tackle who received 28 offers during his recruitment. He’s the No. 17 tackle and is a top 200 overall play in the 2019 class.

He received offers from 12 of the 14 B1G programs. He also had interest from Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma and Clemson, among others.

Michigan currently has the second-best recruiting class in the B1G and is ranked 11th nationally. Penn State sits at third in the conference and No. 14 in the country.
