Miles Sanders had to make two decisions this offseason. He’s made up his mind on one of those, but the other is still under consideration.
On Friday, Penn State players met with the media to talk about the Citrus Bowl matchup against Kentucky on Jan. 1. One of the topics was Sanders’ future, whether he will play in the Nittany Lions’ bowl game and if he’ll return to Happy Valley next season.
According to Audrey Snyder of The Athletic, Sanders will definitely play in the Citrus Bowl. Whether or not he’ll declare for the 2019 NFL Draft is still under consideration.

James Franklin said on Friday that he met with draft-eligible players following Penn State’s season finale against Maryland. He said he wanted to provide as much information and assistance as possible, allowing his players to make an “educated decision.”
Sanders is uncertain of whether or not he’ll pursue the NFL after this season, but he won’t make that decision until after the Citrus Bowl.
Sanders rushed for 1,223 yards in his first season as the primary ball-carrier for the Nittany Lions, ranking fourth among B1G running backs. He scored nine touchdowns and averaged an eyelash under six yards per carry.
He also had 132 yards on 22 receptions.
Penn State ended the season 9-3 and is pursuing its third consecutive 10-win season.
