The B1G was home to some of college football’s most talented players in 2018, even if some didn’t quite get the recognition and attention they deserved.

Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins led the nation in passing yards and passing touchdowns this season. Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor was college football’s top rusher. Purdue receiver Rondale Moore had more receptions than anyone else in the sport.

And those are just at the top of the list.

Recently, ESPN released a list of the top 50 college football players from the 2018 season. Seven stars from the B1G made the cut.

Michigan and Ohio State led the way, each with two selections in the top 50. Wisconsin, Purdue and Penn State all had one representative on the list. Here are the B1G names that made the cut, as well as where they ranked, according to ESPN:

  • No. 3: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
  • No. 16: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin
  • No. 22: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan
  • No. 23: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue
  • No. 29: Trace McSorley, QB, Penn State
  • No. 31: Chase Winovich, DE, Michigan
  • No. 48: Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
