The FCS Championship Game matchup has been set.
Over the weekend, four teams battled for a chance to earn a trip to Frisco, Texas on Jan. 5 to compete for a national title. After the outcomes on Friday and Saturday, the stage is set for the FCS title game.
No. 1 North Dakota State will battle No. 3 Easter Washington at Toyota Stadium in three weeks with a championship hanging in the balance. The game will air on ESPN2 with a kickoff time scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET.
North Dakota State posted a 44-21 victory over No. 5 South Dakota State on Friday night. On Saturday, Eastern Washington recorded a blowout victory over No. 7 Maine with a 50-19 win.
The Bison will enter the game with a perfect 14-0 record while the Eagles are 12-2 on the year.
North Dakota State will have an opportunity to win its seventh national title in the last eight seasons. It will also mark the last game for Chris Klieman with the program, after accepting the head coaching position at Kansas State last week.
Eastern Washington last won a national title in 2010.
