David Blough has had an up-and-down run with the Boilermakers, but the senior quarterback will get a chance to add to an impressive 2018 season in a bowl game.

Purdue is headed to a second consecutive bowl game under head coach Jeff Brohm. However, Blough will be making his first bowl appearance. Blough did not play in last year’s Foster Farms Bowl win over Arizona.

In his senior season, Blough broke out with the offense while throwing for 3,521 yards and 25 TDs to just eight interceptions. As he prepares for one last game at Purdue, Blough said in an interview with Purdue Football that he is simply focused on enjoying his time with the team:

“There’s been a lot of ups and downs along the way, but truly been a blessing,” said Blough. “Really we take great pride in Purdue, and everything we’ve been able to do here and be a part of…we’re just thankful for the time.”
