The Frisco Bowl is off and running Wednesday night, and the Ohio Bobcats are out to a solid halftime lead.
Ohio is taking on San Diego State in the DXL Frisco Bowl. However, the first half has been dominated by the Bobcats. They carried a 17-0 lead into the break with quarterback Nathan Rourke providing the offensive spark.
Rourke only completed 5-of-13 passes before halftime, but he added 29 yards rushing and two touchdowns against the Aztecs. His first one of the game was especially impressive.
Rourke and the entire offense ran this particular option play to perfection. He faked a handoff to the running back as long as possible, fooling the defense on the play. Rourke would pull the ball back at the last second before waltzing into the end zone untouched for the score.
