Wisconsin had little trouble with Miami in Thursday’s Pinstripe Bowl, posting an impressive 35-3 victory over the Hurricanes. That win helped the Badgers extend a pretty significant postseason winning streak.

With the victory on Thursday night, the Badgers have now won five straight bowl games. They are the first team in B1G history to accomplish that feat.

That’s a significant achievement, especially considering the rich history of programs like Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State.

The streak started in 2014 with the Badgers posting a 34-31 overtime win over Auburn in the Outback Bowl. Wisconsin then defeated USC in the Holiday Bowl in 2015 by a 23-21 final.

In 2016, Wisconsin posted a 24-16 victory over Western Michigan in the Cotton Bowl. Last season, the Badgers earned a 34-24 win over Miami in the Orange Bowl.

During the stretch, the Badgers have won five different bowl games and defeated teams from four different conferences. But it hasn’t mattered, Wisconsin has been unbeatable in the postseason over the last five years.
