Michigan was highly ranked all season long.

Even after losing to Notre Dame in the first week of the season, the Wolverines were respected.

And, rightfully so. Michigan went on to win its next 10 games before facing Ohio State. Things of course didn’t go as planned against the Buckeyes, which also cost the team a shot at the College Football Playoff.

As we have since found out, Notre Dame didn’t belong on the same field as Clemson, and the same goes for Oklahoma and Alabama. Once again, the Crimson Tide are facing the Tigers for a national championship.

Aside from what happened in the playoff, Michigan did earn a right to play in the the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl against No. 10 Florida. Unfortunately, the Gators took it to the Wolverines, winning 41-15. The end of the season went sour for Michigan.

There’s no way around it.

At 10-3, some will call the season a disappointment. Others will live with a 10-win season from Harbaugh. Regardless, DE Chase Winovich loved his time not only this season, but every season he had with the Wolverines.

On Sunday morning, he posted about his love on Instagram:

Again, Winovich loved being in the maize and blue. He’ll move onto the NFL next season, but no matter how much time passes, Michigan will always have a spot in his heart.
