Joe Burrow got beat up on Tuesday. The LSU quarterback took shot after shot from UCF defenders throughout the game, clearly in an attempt to rattle the gunslinger.

While the former Ohio State quarterback took some major hits, he was still able to lead the Tigers to a 40-32 Fiesta Bowl win over the Knights. And in the end, that’s all that mattered.

After the game, SportsCenter tweeted out one of the hits Burrow suffered during Tuesday’s game. The LSU quarterback was decleated as a UCF defender raced to the end zone following an interception. Burrow found the tweet and added his own commentary.

People loved it.

“That’s (alr)ight I’ll take the 4 TDs and the dub,” Burrow tweeted, referencing LSU’s win.

That was the only interception Burrow threw, and he followed it up with a huge performance. He finished the day completing 21-of-34 passes for 394 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 24 yards on nine carries.

LSU’s win bumped it to 10-3 on the year while UCF finished 12-1.

Burrow may have taken some big-time hits in the Fiesta Bowl, but he was the last one laughing at the end of the game. Obviously that carried over to Twitter, as well.
