4 of NFL’s Top 6 selling jerseys belong to former B1G stars

Even after nearly two decades in the NFL, Tom Brady’s jersey is still the most popular on the market.
According to a graphic released by NFL Shop earlier this week, Brady had the top-selling jersey of any NFL player for the 2018 season. But Brady wasn’t the only former B1G star that has a popular jersey, as four of the league’s top six selling jerseys belonged to former conference players.
Brady was No. 1 on the list while Ezekiel Elliott came in No. 4, Saquon Barkley was No. 5 and Drew Brees was No. 6. Coming in at No. 2 was Khalil Mack and No. 3 was Patrick Mahomes.
The New England area wasn’t the only region where Brady’s jersey was most popular this season. In addition to Massachusetts, Brady’s jersey was popular in New York, Florida, Indiana and Hawai’i.
It seems that NFL fans are loving a mixture of new and old B1G stars. Brady and Brees have been playing football at the highest level for nearly two decades. Elliott is in his third season with the Cowboys and Barkley is a rookie.
