Buckeyes WR Binjimen Victor returning to Ohio State

Ohio State’s receiving corps got some good news on Monday night, as Binjimen Victor announced that he’ll be returning to Columbus next season.
Victor made his announcement short and sweet, posting a picture of himself at the Rose Bowl with a hashtag “#1more.” The Ohio State receiver was debating a move to the NFL but was expected to return for one more year.

Victor was the fifth-leading receiver for Ohio State this season, totaling 21 catches for 354 yards and four touchdowns. He appeared in all 14 games.
In three seasons in Columbus, Victor has caught 48 passes for 767 yards and 12 touchdowns. His sophomore season was arguably his most productive, totaling seven scores and 23 receptions for the Buckeyes.
Victor will likely have a much more integral role in Ohio State’s passing attack next fall. Losing top pass-catchers in Parris Campbell, Terry McLaurin and Johnnie Dixon, there will be some huge shoes to fill in 2019.
But Victor has improved every season, both as a playmaker and a blocker. Yes, the Buckeyes are losing a lot at wide receiver, but getting the experience and veteran leadership back from Victor is good news for Ryan Day and Co.
