Michigan adds former Boston College DC to defensive staff

Michigan has officially added former Boston College defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile to its staff.
A press release was sent out from Michigan to announce the addition of Campanile. His title wasn’t listed, as he was just mentioned as a defensive assistant for the time being.
“Anthony has a strong reputation for developing all-conference performers and future NFL players,” Harbaugh said in a statement. “Our student-athletes will benefit greatly from his mentorship. Anthony is an excellent addition to our coaching staff and provides great flexibility with his experience working on both sides of the ball and at multiple positions. Michigan football looks forward to having Anthony, Tracey, and their children, Valentina and Serafina, join our University family.”
Campanile was the defensive backs coach at Boston College for the past three seasons. In 2018, he was also named the co-defensive coordinator. The Eagles have owned one of the ACC’s top defenses over the last three years.
Prior to Boston College, Campanile spent four seasons at Rutgers.
