A lot of talented wide receivers have played at Ohio State, and the Buckeyes coaching staff are hoping to continue that trend moving forward.

Ohio State extended and offer to 4-star 2021 receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. on Wednesday, becoming the latest big-time program to show interest in the young star. He’s the son of former Indianapolis Colts and NFL star receiver Marvin Harrison.

Harrison Jr. announced his offer through Twitter.

Florida, Penn State, Syracuse and West Virginia have also already extended offers to Harrison. His father played at Syracuse.

Marvin Harrison was a star in the NFL, gaining plenty of attention as the primary target for the Colts during the Peyton Manning era. He was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and was a member of the Super Bowl XLI winning team in Indianapolis.

In his 13-year NFL career, Marvin Harrison totaled 1,102 receptions for 14,580 yards and 128 touchdowns.

While there’s still plenty of time for Harrison Jr. to make a decision on his future, he certainly would add to Ohio State’s legacy of high-quality receivers if he lands in Columbus.
