Former 4-star RB leaving Ohio State

Ohio State running back Brian Snead is no longer with the program, according to multiple reports.
Tom Orr of The Ozone reported the news and Austin Ward of Letterman Row confirmed on Friday that Snead had parted ways with the program and is looking to transfer from Ohio State. There was no specific reason provided for the departure, but the running back missed most of the 2018 season due to a disciplinary issue.

After the initial news broke, Snead later sent out a message on Twitter confirming his plans to leave Columbus.
“I have to part ways with Ohio State University,” Snead wrote. “Therefore, I will be transferring to another post-secondary institution to continue participating in the intercollegiate sport of football.”
Snead missed the final 12 games for the Buckeyes last fall. The disciplinary issue was undisclosed.

Snead is a former 4-star running back and was a member of Ohio State’s 2018 recruiting class. He was ranked as the third-best running back in the class and earned the No. 80 overall ranking amongst players in that cycle.
Snead appeared in two games for Ohio State this fall, taking 11 carries for 37 yards and a touchdown. He rushed for 25 yards and his lone score on seven carries in his collegiate game against Oregon State.
No potential destination was provided by Snead.
