Rutgers reportedly lands new offensive line coach

Rutgers head coach Chris Ash has reportedly found his next offensive line coach.
Monday evening, FootballScoop reported that Rutgers is planning to hire current Central Connecticut head coach Pete Rossomando to be the offensive line coach for the 2019 season. Adam Rittenberg of ESPN also said he was hearing about the move.
Rossomando just completed his fifth season with Central Connecticut.

In five seasons at Central Connecticut, Rossomando has compiled a 23-34 record, but he endured some growing pains through the first three years of his tenure. In 2017, he guided the Blue Devils to an FCS playoff appearance after an 8-3 season and a 6-0 mark in the Northeast Conference.
Prior to taking over at Central Connecticut, Rossomando was the head coach at New Haven, a Division II program. There, he went 42-13 in five seasons and led his teams to two playoff appearances, and two double-digit win campaigns.
Overall, Rossomando is 65-47 as a head coach.
Rossomando played offensive line at Boston University in the early 1990s. Rutgers would be his first FBS coaching job in any capacity.
