Wisconsin tight end Kyle Penniston has entered his name into the NCAA transfer database and will explore his options, according to a report.

247Sports first reported that Penniston would explore other options to finish his college football career. He will have one year of eligibility remaining and will be immediately available to participate in the 2019 season as a graduate transfer.

Penniston appeared in all 13 games for the Badgers in 2018, catching three passes for 18 yards and a touchdown. His lone reception for a score game in Wisconsin’s 49-20 victory over Illinois. He also caught one pass against BYU and another against Penn State.

In three seasons at Wisconsin, Penniston appeared in 38 career games. He totaled 16 receptions for 176 yards and four touchdowns.

There was no indication where Penniston could land, should he decide to transfer.
