Michigan has added a 4-star linebacker to its 2020 recruiting class.
On Friday morning, Osman Savage announced via Twitter that he was joining the Wolverines, becoming the sixth 2020 prospect to commit to the class. He’s currently the highest-rate player of Michigan’s class.
Savage’s message was short and sweet.
“Blessed to say I have committed to the University of Michigan,” Savage wrote on Twitter. He also posted a short video in the maize and blue uniform.

Obviously it’s still very early in the 2020 recruiting process, but Michigan currently has nation’s seventh-best class and ranks No. 2 in the B1G.
Savage is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and is one of the top linebackers in his cycle. He’s ranked as the No. 15 player at his position and the No. 13 prospect out of Maryland. Overall, the 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker is a top 250 recruit, according to 247Sports.
Savage had eight offers and chose Michigan over other B1G programs Maryland and Michigan State.
