The temperatures in Ann Arbor might’ve been well below freezing on Tuesday night, but things got heated between Ohio State and Michigan in Crisler Arena.
Ohio state and Michigan went head to head in a B1G rivalry showdown Tuesday night. Midway through the second half, the two teams got into a brief skirmish following a wave of questionable calls in the contest.
The result was Ohio State’s Kaleb Wesson and Keyshawn Woods and Michigan’s Zavier Simpson, Jordan Poole and Jon Teske exchanging a few words. There was nearly a scuffle on the floor, but teammates, officials and coaches were able to break things up relatively quickly.

After the exchange, both the Buckeyes and Wolverines were assessed two technical fouls.
Nothing like a good ol’ rivalry game in the middle of winter, right?
Michigan held on to post a 65-49 win over Ohio State. The Wolverines improve to 9-1 in B1G play and 20-1 overall. They’re now tied with Michigan State atop the conference standings.
Ohio State dropped to 13-7 on the year and 3-6 in league play.
