Jordan Bohannon is a hero in Iowa City on Sunday night.

With No. 20 Iowa trailing Northwestern 79-77 with :03 remaining in Sunday night’s contest, Bohannon caught an inbounds pass and fired up a game-winning three-pointer that found the bottom of the net. It propelled the Hawkeyes to an 80-79 victory, marking their third-straight win this season.

Bohannon’s bucket capped a 15-point second half comeback for the Hawkeyes. Iowa also found itself down by 11 points with just two minutes left to play.

Bohannon was one of four Hawkeyes to score in double figures on Sunday night, ending the game with 15 points. He converted on three of his four attempts from long range.

Joe Wieskamp led the way with 21 points and Tyler Cook added 19. Isaiah Moss chipped in with 16 points in the victory. But Bohannon’s big three will be the story of the night.

Iowa improved to 8-5 in B1G play with the win over Northwestern and is 19-5 overall.
