“I felt like Michigan would be the most beneficial spot for me for my last year of eligibility and academics,” Danna said. “I picked Michigan because it’s an outstanding platform for me to display my talents and abilities.”
Danna is graduating from Central Michigan, meaning he’ll be immediately eligible to play for the Wolverines in 2019.
The defensive end was a force for the Chippewas in 2018, registering 66 tackles, 15 for loss and 9.5 sacks. He also forced and recovered three fumbles and scored two touchdowns. Central Michigan finished the year 1-11.
With Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich both departing from Ann Arbor, there’s an opportunity for Danna to carve out a significant role immediately with the Wolverines.
