Cris Carter has been really impressed with Parris Campbell at the NFL Combine. So impressed, in fact, that the Hall of Fame wide receiver made a pretty bold claim.
After Campbell posted some impressive numbers at the combine on Saturday, Carter called the former Ohio State receiver the “best athlete at the NFL Combine.” He made the comment in a tweet, pointing to Campbell’s 4.32 time in the 40-yard dash, his 11’3″ broad jump and 41′ vertical.
Those numbers, for a wide receiver, are hard to argue with.

At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Campbell brings good size and physicality to the position, along with his speed and athleticism.
Last year, Campbell was Ohio State’s top receiver, totaling 1,063 yards and 12 touchdowns on 90 receptions. He was often the speediest guy on the field.
Campbell is one of several players using the combine to impress scouts and improve his draft stock. He’s already making a solid impression. If he’s caught the attention of Carter, he’s likely impressed several scouts in attendance in Indianapolis, too.
