A tradition unlike any other is returning to Columbus.

Ohio State announced on Monday that Student Appreciation Day will be returning this spring, setting the date for 11 a.m. ET on March 23.

The event allows Ohio State students to watch practice, eat free food and take photos with the Rose Bowl and B1G Championship trophies. Students can also get autographs and photos with the Buckeyes at the end of practice.

Due to scheduling issues, Ohio State did not host Student Appreciation Day last spring. It had previously hosted the event in Urban Meyer’s first six years as head coach in Columbus.

“The Ohio State students represent the most passionate and loyal fan bases in all of college football, and the players and the members of this program want to thank them for their support,” Ryan Day said via a release. “I can’t wait to meet our students on the field afterward, and I can’t wait for our students to meet the players and greet the new members of our staff.”

The event comes a few weeks before Ohio State’s spring game, which is scheduled for April 13.
